Pikey Peak is
a popular trekking destination in Everest region of Nepal which is recently introduced
for trekkers and considered as alternative trekking trail in contrast to
crowded Everest trail. The major highlighted attraction of this trek is
exploration of Sherpa people with their traditional and cultural values and

Dhap Bazaar from Kathmandu valley. Trek from Dhap Bazaar leads the way passing
through Jhapre, Pikey Peak Base Camp and climb Pikey Peak situated at the
elevation of 4,065 meters from sea level. The summit of the peak reveals wide
range of the snow peaks from Dhaulagiri in the west till Kanchanjunga in the
west with eye-catchy views of Mt Everest, Thamsherku, Numbur Himal and Kangtega
peaks. From the summit, continue your trek by walking through Lamjura Pass,
Junbesi, Thuptenchholing Gompa, Junbesi and finally to Phalpu completing your
whole trekking trail. From Phalpu, a comfortable flight will take you back to
Kathmandu valley.
