Everest Base Camp Trek



Everest Base Camp is one of the best trekking trails in the Everest Region of Nepal leading to towards the base camp of ultimate world’s highest mountain peak. The journey while trekking in this destination goes up to the elevation of 5,364 meters of south base camp (Nepal) and 5,150 meters (Tibet), as the peak comprises two base camps. The trekking trail passes through Sagarmatha National Park and Khumbu Region having rocky trails with inclined steeps offering amazing mountain and scenic views all over. The trek leading to Everest Base Camp is relatively difficult because of higher altitude journey and the trail is adventurous and sometimes thrilling too but for sure has lots of unique and different offerings and explorative deeds.
The Everest Base Camp Trek starts with a flight to Lukla from Kathmandu valley. The actual trek starts from Lukla and follows the way passing through Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Everest Base Hotel, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp. From Base Camp, you can return back to Gorakshep and trek to Kala Pattar, Pheriche, Namche and finally Lukla. From Lukla, as previous, fly back to Kathmandu valley. The major highlights of trekking in Everest Base Camp includes thrilling flight to Lukla Valley, explore Sherpa people, magnificent views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. However, trek to Everest Base Camp is goes mostly through uphill and downhill in flat lands which is relatively considered as difficult but not so much difficult if you are well prepared for the journey. The best time to make this trek is March-May and September-December.
